Ang Babae sa Septic Tank (not a review)

It was AVATAR 3D... yes, avatar was the last movie I saw on wide screen. I don't usually go to the movies unless I really love to see the movie.

Out of curiosity of what the movie was all about, I insisted to see Ang Babae sa Septic Tank by Eugene Domingo. I may not be an "avid fan" of Eugene but I like her acting style. Maybe because we share something in common - the stage theater. We went to this mall in Manila only to find out that the theater that is supposed to be playing the said movie was closed. (We actually queued for almost 30 minutes in the ticket booth only to be told so). So feeling tired and frustrated we went to our cousin's place. After some chit-chatting, food sharing and resting, we decided to go to another mall nearby. We saw the poster of the movie and rushed to the ticket booth since we don't have enough time left. (malapit na mag start ung movie and we thought it's a one time viewing only)... so much for that...

So the movie...
Huh? nice start.,.. oh... si JM! I like that boy as well... oki... and so the movie goes... the story of mila... I, together with my 2 cousins and my sister were enjoying the movie until a group of BIG, FAT non-professional movie goers sat behind us and were laughing hard though there is no funny scene yet started to annoy us. We went to another row away from them and enjoyed the movie...

"I want.... ung kape na masarap... ung sa Italy ko natikman... ano na nga un... Oo, EXPRESSO!!!!" What the @#$K! Sa sobrang yabang nung director na yon kahit ako nakaisa nina JM sa pagkainis sa sobrang yabang... Then, I just laughed at him. So all of us were laughing... until maybe the nth time, the scene of MILA and her children was played (though there were several themes/genre of the scene) came into my nerve... ito lang ba talaga ung movie a repetitive scene of MILA and her disgusting life, flashing through the head of these indie and young movie makers? So where's the septic tank? where is Eugene Domingo as herself? What the heck is this movie about? I get the point of the actual writer. I get the point of the director of movie (or so I thought...)

Ok fine... so where is the septic tank... (My sister told me that she had read from somewhere that the scene on the septic was actually an accident and was not intended to be shot). But since it was nice, the director added it to the movie..

It was fun... not the septic tank scene, but the movie itself... Maybe I should write my own review of the movie. But one thing I'm sure, the best movie of the year I have seen so far.

If I were to give the movie a rating, it would be 6 over 5 stars! The Best! Bravo!
